Box Score SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. – Oklahoma City University rallied for a 4-2 win over John Brown (Ark.) at Alumni Field on Tuesday.
Damon Ellis, a freshman from Chester-Le-Street, England, provided the go-ahead goal off Stuart Hilton's assist at 71:14 into the match. OCU, ranked fourth in NAIA men's soccer, moved to 12-1, 4-0 in the Sooner Athletic Conference, while John Brown went to 6-4-1, 2-2-1.
Hilton, a sophomore from Liverpool, England, tied the match 2-2 at the 48:41 mark. Hilton answered after John Brown scored the previous two goals, the second on Juan Iraola's goal 48:28 into the contest.
Tyler Vaughn notched the match's final goal for OCU with assists from Luke Garvey and Alex Gang at the 87:50 mark.
“We did really well to come back,” OCU coach Brian Harvey said. “Stuart Hilton was our man of the match.”
Andy Fitzpatrick had eight saves for OCU while facing 15 shots.
OCU takes on Oklahoma Christian at 8 p.m. Saturday in an away contest.
